What a bad Wednesday. Poor kid did a face plant on the rug, resulting in a nice rug burn on her nose during the day. Then, right before bed, she decided to make an escape attempt out the back door. Daddy didn't know she'd snuck up on him (she does this quickly now, of course)and he closed the big, heavy, sliding back door. Except she hadn't removed her thumb from said doorframe. OUCH. Much screaming and a big purple thumb later, she was happy splashing her hands in cold water on her high chair tray.



OH, do we love this nice weather. She climbs up the new swing set on her own for the first time in this video. In this video she shows off several of her coolest dance moves. There's also the Flashdance routine!. ENJOY!



We love Sandra Boynton books. Snuggle Puppy is a major favorite. And Philadelphia Chickens is her best album. So far, we have to say, we love kiddie music. Maddie loves any music.

Mom's Maddie Pictures March 2008

Nana took Maddie down to Brigantine to visit Aunt Laura. Brigantine has a LOOONG beach, by the way. And Maddie seemed compelled to head straight for the water. Baby turtle-style.



Maddie got a new drum with cool instruments for Easter! The Easter Bunny brings these to pretty much all children of music teachers, we hear. :-) She decided the sticks would work as a guiro too.



Running around the newly-cleaned out back yard. You can get a glimpse of the new swingset, too.
